Professionally:
I graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design from Andrews University in May of 2008, after which I worked for a year as a pre-press technician at LithoTech, a print shop on the campus of Andrews University.
After that, I taught English in the PreSchool division of an English Language Institute in South Korea for a year, then became the Curriculum Development and Programming director for the same program.
Currently, I am working on setting up my freelance graphic design and photography business.
My professional dreams include starting my own freelance photography and design business, starting my own clothing/sewing line, blogging on the domestic arts, writing and publishing books in several specific genres, and possibly working for a humanitarian organization (such as ADRA, World Vision, Compassion, etc).
Personally:
I am a female introverted thinker and analyzer who is practically addicted to aquiring knowledge. This includes numerous "projects" commissioned by myself, teaching myself languages, and reading just about whatever I can get my hands on. I am a redhead, which really is its own sub-culture that people who aren't redheads never understand...
I enjoyed my time in South Korea very much, learning about a different culture and picking up various Korean words (Korean is hard!).
Currently, I am working on readjusting myself to the American culture, as well as making plans for the future.
My personal dreams include traveling the world, becoming fluent in as many languages as possible, starting a family, designing and building my own home one day, and witnessing a (specific) miracle...
